@ Your Library

Welcome to the last month of 2022! How are your reading goals for the year coming? Do you need to spend some time this month reading to complete your goals? Stop by the library and pick out some great books to round out your reading year. Here are a few newer titles that have been popular with our community. Roger Stelljes has written four books so far in his series about FBI agent Tori Hunter. The titles are set in Minnesota and feature an FBI agent who focuses on missing person cases with the titles being Silenced Girls, Winter Girls, Hidden Girl and Missing Angel.             A J Rivers is another popular author with her series of twenty books about FBI agent Emma Griffin. All of her titles also have ‘girl’ in the title with the first one being The Girl in Cabin 13. Both series are mystery thrillers with high action alongside a mystery.

Popular author Fern Michaels has a new title in her “Lost and Found” series which began with Hidden and is continued in Secrets. Brother and sister, Luna and Cullen Bodman couldn’t be more different, but they own an antique shop and café together and find themselves unraveling mysteries for their clients.

Tess Gerritsen continues her popular Rizzoli and Isles series with Listen to Me while Catherine Coulter continues her popular FBI thrillers with Reckoning and the latest author to write Jason Bourne titles is Brian Freeman with The Bourne Sacrifice. These are all well-established characters with lots of books available if you like the character and settings, providing lots of reading time this winter if you haven’t read these series yet. Getting hooked on a character is a great way to build your reading habit.

If you’d prefer to hang onto summer a bit longer then try one of these titles by popular authors. Summer at the Cape by RaeAnne Thayne is a poignant tale of family and all its complications. Nancy Thayne has written a beautiful tale of old friends in Summer Love and Jennifer Weiner writes of family, secrets and the ties that bind in The Summer Place. Jenny Colgan takes readers to the remote Scottish Island of Mure for high summer weddings in An Island Wedding.

We also have a display of new and old holiday titles. Check out a book or two to help you get in the holiday spirit. Many popular authors have written short holiday titles, some with their main character and some stand-alone titles. Come see our wide range of titles for all ages.

A quick reminder to please bring media (CD books, DVD’s, Playaways, etc) into the library and not drop them into the outside return when the weather is really cold (generally under zero). The plastic becomes very brittle and if another item lands on top of it we’ve had them shatter. Thanks for working with us to keep our items in good working order. Please call or email (ifallslibrary@gmail.com) to renew media that can’t be returned outside. Thank you!
