Last week I talked about most of the September programs including Libratory on Wednesday afternoons from 3 – 4:30, storytime on Thursday mornings at 10:30, as well as a autumnal painting class for teens and adults this coming Saturday, September 14th from 10:30 – noon, Siama’s Congo Roots on Monday, September 23rd at 6:30pm and the monthly book sale from 5 – 7 pm that evening.… Read the rest

It is the middle of July! What have you read this summer? I love reading books set in either bookstores or libraries and two new titles that I enjoyed were The Bookshop on the Shore by Jenny Colgan about a bookshop on the shores of Loch Ness (how can anyone not want to manage a book store in Scotland) and The Library of Lost and Found by Phaedra Patrick about a librarian who discovers a mysterious book with a clue that leads her on a journey of a lifetime.… Read the rest
