Of all the things that build curiosity, your brain is your best tool. You use it to think and reason and ask questions and discover new things. But your brain is fueled by oxygen that is brought there by blood that is pumped by your heart. Without your heart, your brain couldn’t dig deeper into the world around you.
This week, we will be building a model of the heart that shows how it moves oxygen from your lungs to your brain (and other places in your body). The instructions to build it are located on this website. You can pick up a bag of supplies at the library any time until next Wednesday until our stash runs out.
