How does your garden grow?

This week for storytime, we read books about gardens. Flower gardens, veggie gardens, and gardens with an excess of bunnies.

One of my favorite stories about gardens is a video we have in our library called Linnea in Monet’s Garden. It’s too long to read the book for storytime (it’s chock-full of interesting information for kids third grade and up), but here’s a little taste so you can see his gardens and his art.

This week for our craft, we’re going to create Monet’s waterlily pond on a paper plate. This is going to be fun! Don’t forget to call us or stop in to get your bag of supplies at the library.
